Part of the Community presents: Zoom Mixtape 1999, an interactive zoom event facilitated by artists Zoë Marden and Vasiliki Antonopoulou, hosted by curator Hayley Gibson.

In Purple Velvet’s episode Mixtape 1999, we shared, through music, the soundtrack and music scenes that made us. The songs that made us realise that there are others like us out there, and that we are many.

We invite you to join us in creating a Zoom Mixtape by sharing a song that holds emotional significance to you. We ask participants to have their screen on sharing mode on the music video of their choice, thus transforming our screen into an audio visual collage of our collective queer narratives.
