Welcome to the Disabled Student Network at the Royal College of Art Students' Union!
What is the Disabled Students’ Network?:
The Disabled Student Network is a vibrant community within RCASU that brings together students who have a disability. We understand the importance of connection, support, and empowerment, and this network aims to create a space where individuals can share experiences, exchange ideas, and foster a sense of belonging.
What to Expect:
When you register with the Disabled Student Network, you open the door to a range of exciting opportunities and resources tailored just for you. As a member, you can look forward to:
Termly Meet-ups: Join us for engaging and inclusive gatherings where you can connect with fellow students, share stories, and build lasting friendships. These meet-ups provide a supportive environment to discuss common challenges and triumphs.
Termly Newsletters: Stay informed and inspired with our informative newsletters delivered straight to your inbox every term. Packed with updates, relevant articles, and inspiring stories, our newsletters aim to keep you connected and engaged with the community.
Instant messaging space: Forge instant connections and participate in real-time conversations through our dedicated WhatsApp group. It's a space where you can ask questions, seek advice, and share your thoughts with a supportive network of peers who understand your journey.
The Disabled Student Network officially launches on the 23rd of January from 12 - 2 pm, and we invite you to be a part of this exciting journey. We will be in the Kensington, Courtyard Gallery, where you can come down to have a chat and register your interest to join the network.
