The Students’ Union and Student Support have joined forces to build a network for students who are parenting while they study.

If you are managing parental responsibilities or are soon to be a parent, this is an opportunity to meet peers who are going through the same experience. It's a group meetup that offers friendly connections and a safe space where unique experiences can be shared and understood.

This initiative was started during lockdown as a place for parents to share how they were finding learning in lockdown, experiences of homeschooling and idea exchanges on keeping children entertained and engaged. Conversations within the group, which has met twice so far, have evolved to include discussions on child-friendly approaches reflected within the curriculum delivery and culture at the College.
