The Creative Entrepreneurs of RCA Society is a student-led initiative that empowers artists, designers, and innovators to transform creative ideas into impactful ventures. We aim to bridge the gap between creativity and business by helping students gain the skills, connections, and confidence to turn their practice into something sustainable, scalable, and successful. Rooted in collaboration and experimentation, the society provides a space where creative thinking meets entrepreneurial strategy.
Supported by InnovationRCA, the college’s own centre for entrepreneurship and business development, we aspire to be the bridge between ideas and impact — equipping students with the skills, mindset, and experience to confidently take part in InnoationRCA's incubator and accelerator programmes and pursue their own creative ventures.
Through talks, workshops, and mentoring from successful creative entrepreneurs, we explore how to navigate the real-world challenges of freelancing, startups, collectives, and independent creative businesses. Our events range from interactive skill-building sessions on pitching, branding, and funding to networking evenings with industry professionals and alumni. We invite already successful creative entrepreneurs to host talks and share their insights, lessons, and secrets to building thriving creative businesses.
The society also works towards collective projects and showcases that highlight creative entrepreneurship in action. We encourage interdisciplinary collaboration across RCA programmes and aim to connect with other London universities, including Russell Group institutions in fields such as business, technology, and finance — creating a powerful ecosystem where creativity meets innovation.
