In collaboration with Don’t Worry I’m Sick and Poor - a lecture series by Babeworld (CAP student Ashleigh Williams & Georgina Tyson) and Whinegums (Ellie Harman-Taylor), RCASU presents Charlie Craggs in Conversation with Gabi Davies; the very first trans SU Co-president.

Charlie Craggs is an award-winning trans activist and author, dubbed ‘the voice of a community’ by Vogue, best known for her national campaign Nail Transphobia. She travels around the U.K. with her pop up nail salon and her squad of trans nail techs, offering the public free manicures for the chance to sit down and have a chat with a trans person in a bid to break misconceptions and make allies.

What stood out about Charlie, beyond the awards and accomplishments, is her unfaltering authenticity throughout. From turning up to a talk in surgery bandages to instagram stories about dating - Charlie has kept her head and will keep reminding you that she will not forget herself and her working class roots and come and do a talk for a big business is a tracksuit.
